About the founder
The Late Sri. G.D.Naidu was not only a successful Industrialist but a very keen educationalist who was deeply involved in job oriented education and strongly believed that this was the urgent need of India to take it into the next era. Accordingly he was the Founder of the famous Govt. College of Technology, Coimbatore and also the Govt. Polytechnic, Coimbatore as early as 1945. He started yet another institute in 1946 in the name of ILWA/ G.D.Naidu Charities catering to short term courses,which are quite popular throughout India and other countries.
